Two newspapers are published in Havelock each week. The Havelock news is available on Thursays. The Windsock, the weekly publication for Cherry Point military and civilian personnel, is issued each Thursday. The Sun Journal is the daily paper serving the Havelock area.

In addition to an expanded cable system available in most of the area, Havelock is served by five stations available over traditional airwaves:
