The city of Havelock has five public elementary schools, two parochial schools, two public middle schools, and a public high school.  Craven Community College has a Havelock campus providing vocational and college level courses day and night. In the fall of 2007 University Connections was introduced to bring the quality of two of the nation’s leading higher education providers, the North Carolina Community College System and the University of North Carolina System, to the doorsteps of Craven County residents and our military.

Some of the nation’s top universities offer degree programs through the Marine Corps Air Station Education Center.
