Havelock's 54th Annual Christmas Parade!

Havelock celebrates the Christmas season with a "Red & Gold" themed parade in honor of the Marine Corps' 250th Birthday

Havelock’s streets were filled with holiday cheer and community pride on Saturday, December 13th as the town celebrated its 54th Annual Christmas Parade. Families, friends, and visitors lined the parade route to enjoy festive floats, marching groups, and creative displays that truly captured the spirit of the season.

This year’s parade proudly featured the theme “Red and Gold,” chosen in honor of the United States Marine Corps’ 250th Birthday. The patriotic colors served as a meaningful tribute to Havelock’s deep-rooted military heritage and its longstanding connection to the Marine Corps, making the celebration even more special for our community.

Leading the parade as Grand Marshal was Scarlett Morgan, a lifelong Havelock resident and devoted supporter of local students. Scarlett’s dedication to service, education, and community involvement embodies the very heart of Havelock. Her presence was a fitting honor and a reminder of the impact one individual can have through compassion, commitment, and pride in our hometown.

The 54th Annual Christmas Parade was a wonderful celebration of tradition, gratitude, and holiday joy—bringing together generations to celebrate Havelock’s past, present, and bright future.
